Mangaluru: Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, who was in the city to attend a private event on Thursday, said that he would love to come back and build more memories here.Recalling his childhood, he said he was very young when he was in the city, and spent some of his early years here, when his grandfather was the chief engineer at the Old Mangalore Port.He said he would always remember words like ‘Namaskara Kudla’ and ‘Yenchaular’, and added that he loved to relish neer dose when he visits the city.He also expressed his interest in learning the culture and language of the region, and said that he had sent videos of the city to his daughter, and would come back to the city.He said the warmth and love he received during the journey is extremely heartening.He said he does not remember much about his early days here, and said that he has only one childhood photograph from Mangaluru city.Answering a fan’s question, he said that if he had not become what he is today, and had continued to live in Mangaluru, he would have been a teacher, possibly teaching at St Aloysius, Sharada or Mount Carmel school.
