Kanpur: A 35-year-old vegetable trader was killed and another injured, after a speeding truck rammed into a parked loader near Mankapur petrol pump on Sikandar-Jhinjhak Road in Kanpur Dehat at around 4:30am on Sunday.According to information, the deceased, Balbeer was sorting out damaged vegetables from the loader when the truck hit it from behind. Another individual, identified as Bhoora, who was standing near the loader, was also injured.Both were taken to Community Health Centre Jhinjhak for treatment, where doctors declared Balbeer dead while the injured was given treatment.After the accident, the truck driver abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene. Station officer, Mahesh Dubey, said that further action will be taken on the basis of the written complaint.
