During the visit, the deputy CM reviewed mining operations, safety measures and transport records, and was briefed by officials on production capacity and reserves. He said the inspection was conducted to present facts before the public amid what he called a campaign of misinformation by BRS leaders against Singareni. He stressed that the govt is committed to maintaining full transparency in coal production, stock management and transport systems.Bhatti Vikramarka said Singareni is a crown jewel of Telangana and belongs to the people, warning that no one should cast what he described as a “vulture’s eye” on its resources or functioning for selfish interests. The deputy CM noted that the Srirampur open cast mine has sufficient reserves to continue coal production for another 28 years as per its planned targets. Officials explained that every process within Singareni is carried out using advanced computerised systems, ensuring transparency.
