Bhubaneswar: A female junior resident doctor of AIIMS Bhubaneswar was found dead in her rented accommodation at Dumduma under Khandagiri police station limits late Tuesday.Police said her body was found hanging from a ceiling fan, raising suspicion that she committed suicide.The deceased, hailing from Karnataka, shared the house with a friend. “She did not report to duty on Tuesday. When her roommate returned in the evening and found the room locked, repeated calls to her phone went unanswered,” a police officer said. The police were alerted, and after breaking open the door, officers found her hanging.“We are trying to ascertain the circumstances that led to her death,” the officer said.
