Doctors have revealed that the woman went into labour while her husband was rushing her to the hospital, but she delivered her baby minutes before entering the premises

In a surprising turn of events, a pregnant woman, who went into labour and was hurriedly rushed to the hospital on a bike, gave birth on the back just moments before reaching the entrance. A video of the incident, which unfolded in Vietnam, has gone viral on the internet, where doctors and nurses were seen rushing to help the mother and her newborn.
According to local media reports, the incident took place at Phu Luong Hospital in Vietnam’s Thai Nguyen province on August 3. The 25-year-old woman, who was around 32 weeks pregnant (about eight months), began experiencing severe abdominal pain and was immediately taken to the hospital by her husband on a motorcycle.
But before they could even enter the hospital premises, she went into labour and delivered the baby while still on the motorcycle. In a video posted on X, the woman was seen standing on the motorcycle with the help of her husband, while hospital staff quickly surrounded her and helped with the baby.
The reports stated that the premature baby was found inside the mother’s shorts with the umbilical cord still attached. Medical personnel then carefully moved both mother and her child to safety before cutting the cord and tending to each of them separately.
Later, doctors revealed that the woman was in her fourth pregnancy and had previously received treatment at the same hospital for a threatened miscarriage. Because her labour progressed very rapidly, the family had no time to prepare before rushing her to the hospital. The doctors have confirmed that both the mother and the baby are in stable condition and are recovering well.

The unusual incident has caught the attention of people, with many social media users praising the hospital staff for their quick response and expressing relief that both mother and child were safe.
