Army Chief General Dhiraj Seth marked the start of his tenure with a heartwarming tribute to family, saluting his father, retired Lieutenant General KM Seth, after receiving a Guard of Honour as the Chief of Army Staff. A video from the ceremony captured the emotional moment, followed by another as his younger brother, Rear Admiral Ravnish Seth, saluted the newly appointed Army Chief. Lieutenant General KM Seth retired as the Indian Army’s Adjutant General in 1997, when General Dhiraj Seth was serving as a captain. General Seth assumed charge as the 31st Chief of Army Staff on Tuesday, succeeding General Upendra Dwivedi, who retired on attaining the age of 62.
