Prayagraj: In a first, the UP Board will digitally evaluate answer sheets of the High School improvement and compartment examinations, as well as the Intermediate compartment examination, scheduled for July 28. A total of 42,078 candidates will appear for the examinations at 92 centres across the state.The digital evaluation will be conducted at three centres — Prayagraj, Varanasi and Meerut. Teachers selected as examiners will undergo training before being assigned evaluation duties. The board has already received lists of eligible teachers from District Inspectors of Schools (DIOSs) across Uttar Pradesh.The examinations will be held at centres designated by the DIOSs at district headquarters. Officials have been instructed to ensure all necessary arrangements are in place.To prevent malpractice and ensure transparency, the board has put in place elaborate security measures. CCTV cameras equipped with voice-recording facilities will remain operational in all examination rooms throughout the examination period.Question paper packets will be opened and distributed only in the presence of the centre superintendent, external centre superintendent and the static magistrate. The entire process will be carried out under CCTV surveillance.UP Board additional secretary (administration) Satyendra Kumar said Prayagraj has been designated as the collection centre for answer sheets after the examinations.
