Nagpur: The anti-narcotics squad arrested two accused near Lal Darwaza in Tandapeth on Sunday and seized 20grams of Mephedrone (MD) powder from them.Cops said that Sheikh Ikram (27), a resident of Kharbi, and Pravin Nimvale (30), a resident of Ladpura in Tandapeth, were arrested in front of two witnesses. The anti-narcotics team spotted the suspects behaving suspiciously, and upon searching, the contraband was recovered from their possession.Investigations revealed that Ikram had purchased the MD powder from Pravin and was about to deliver it to a third party. Further questioning revealed that Pravin had procured the narcotics from a wanted accused.The suspects have been arrested. Further probe is underway under senior inspector Gajanan Gulhane and DCP Crime Deepak Aggarwal.
