Three-day property exhibition takes off in Coimbatore

The Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations’ of India (CREDAI), Coimbatore, launched the 16th edition of its property exhibition — FairPro — in Coimbatore city on Friday with property developers showcasing their upcoming and ongoing residential projects in Coimbatore district.

Stalls by more than 35 property developers, who are all members of CREDAI, housed details of their plotted developments, premium houses, gated communities, budget houses, and so on. All the projects have bee registered with the Tamil Nadu Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA).

S.R. Aravind Kumar, who heads CREDAI Coimbatore, urged the public to study the details of all the projects and decide on their choice for purchase. “Members of CREDAI are not just constructing buildings but are also developing the skyline of the city,” he said.

Gugan Ilango, president-elect of CREDAI Tamil Nadu, said about 50 projects from Coimbatore region used to get RERA registration annually. This year, 50 projects were registered in six months, indicating the vibrancy in the market.

Haritha Poornima, General Manager, State Bank of India Network-3, who inaugurated the three-day fair at Hall D of the Codissia Trade Fair Complex said such events benefitted the home buyers, bankers, and builders.
