Actor-politician Ravi Kishan’s viral “Money follows my brother” moment has an unlikely new audience after being played during an event at MIT ADT University in Pune. A video showing the moment has surfaced online, with students seen watching the familiar clip on a large screen inside the auditorium.
Ravi Kishan has recently become a recurring presence across social media, with old interview snippets, podcast appearances and his distinctive one-liners frequently resurfacing online. Now, the trend appears to have moved beyond social media and into a college setting.
A video shared by Dheer (@postedbydheer) shows students seated inside an auditorium at a Pune university, as an event is underway. Speakers can be seen on stage, while a large screen behind them displays a video. Moments later, Kishan appears on the screen, delivering his now-viral line: “Money follows my brother.”
The clip originally comes from a podcast featuring Kishan and entrepreneur Raj Shamani. During their conversation, Shamani asks the actor-politician to choose between “Pehchaan ya paisa (identity or money)”. Kishan opts for “pehchaan” before delivering the line that later became a social media favourite: “Money follows my brother.”
In the college video, students appear to watch the clip as Kishan’s voice plays across the auditorium. After the video ends, a speaker can be heard saying, “That’s my piece of time. Thank you.”
The person who shared the video captioned it, “trend college tak pahuch gaya (the trend has reached college too)”. Text overlaid on the video also read, “even my college is Ravi Kishan-holic.”
The unexpected appearance of the viral clip at a college event quickly caught the attention of social media users, many of whom appeared amused by the fact that the trend had made its way into an auditorium.
