The Kerala government on Friday (June 12, 2026) cancelled the appointment of T.H. Haris Muhammed, Additional Secretary, Law department, as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Kerala State Waqf Board. Manu C.M., Divisional Waqf Officer and Head of the Legal section of the board, will hold the full additional charge of the CEO until a new appointment is made.
