Simple Energy has confirmed the unveiling date for its first family-based electric scooter; to likely be called the Arrive
Simple Energy has confirmed that it will unveil its first family-based electric scooter on September 2, 2026. Expected to be called the Simple Arrive, it has been developed through the company’s in-house research and development programme. The Bengaluru-based brand says the scooter has been created for everyday commuting as it will be practical and packed with technology.
The upcoming scooter was first spotted on public roads in March 2026 offering an early look at its overall design. The company has not disclosed technical specifications or pricing yet. The Arrive will be positioned below the Simple One range which costs Rs. 1.84 lakh (ex-showroom) – adding a more accessible offering. Simple Energy currently sells the OneS, One and the recently introduced Ultra with the latter boasting a range of 400 km between charges.
Spy pictures show a more conventional design than the Simple One. The front apron houses an LED headlamp topped by a small visor while the rear gets a slim LED tail lamp extending across the tail section. The body panels get a uncluttered appearance and the scooter features a long single-piece seat along with a flat floorboard intended to carry daily essentials.
The test prototype also revealed 12-inch alloy wheels, twin rear shock absorbers and what appears to be a front disc and rear drum brake combination. The riding position appears upright while the under-seat storage area could be large enough to accommodate two half-face helmets. A TFT instrument display and a small storage compartment behind the front apron are also expected.
Simple Energy has not revealed battery or motor specifications. However, reports suggest the Arrive could use the 3.7 kWh battery pack available in the OneS while another smaller battery option could also be introduced. A real-world riding range of more than 100 km on a single charge could be possible. It will compete with the Ather Rizta, TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak after its market introduction.
We do expect the Simple Arrive to be positioned along the lines of the iQube and Rizta as opposed to the less pricier Chetak, Ola S1X series and Orbiter.
