Samserganj (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Mohammed Noor Alam of the AITC won the Samserganj assembly seat, defeating Abdul Hai (IND), Anup Bhaskar (IND), Md Meraj Sorif (Rashtriya Secular Majlis Party), Md Najme Alam (INC), Md. Nazim Sk (IND), Md. Selim Ansari (IND), Motajul Islam (IND), Rabiul Hoque (SUCI(C)), Sasti Charan Ghosh (BJP).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – All India Trinamool Congress Amirul Islam, Indian National Congress Zaidur Rahaman, Bharatiya Janta Party Milan Ghosh and others. In the last Samserganj Assembly elections, the All India Trinamool Congress party’s Amirul Islam won by a margin of 26,379 votes. The Indian National Congress’s Zaidur Rahaman was the runner up securing 70,038 votes.
