Siliguri (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Shankar Ghosh of the BJP won the Siliguri assembly seat, defeating Alok Dhara (INC), Dr. Shahriar Alam (SUCI(C)), Goutam Deb (AITC), Krishna Nand Singh (IND), Mamata Das (Amra Bangalee), Priyanka Bose (BSP), Saradindu Chakraborty (Joy) (CPI(M)), Sunil Pandit (IND), Suraj Bishwakarma (IND), Tarun Talapatra (IND).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – Bharatiya Janta Party Sankar Ghosh, All India Trinamool Congress Dr. Omprakash Mishra, Communist Party Of India (Marxist) Asok Bhattacharya and others. In the last Siliguri Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janta Party party’s Sankar Ghosh won by a margin of 35,586 votes. The All India Trinamool Congress’s Dr. Omprakash Mishra was the runner up securing 53,784 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,15,514, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
