Major League Baseball (MLB), announced on Thursday, that it will host MLBx, a fast paced 3-on-3 baseball competition in Mumbai on October 24 at the Andheri Sports Complex.
The event will bring together baseball, interactive fan experiences and entertainment, and give Indian fans a chance to experience the league and the sport.
MLBx combines power hitting, athletic defense and fast-paced gameplay. It was exhibited during the recently-concluded MLB All-Star Week in Philadelphia and has previously taken place in 15 venues across the United States of America over the last three years. There have also been editions in London, Seoul and Mexico City.
The high-profile roll-out in Mumbai will feature T20 World Cup-winning former India captain Suryakumar Yadav and also feature MLB stars Nick Swisher and Adrian Gonzalez.
