BALLARI: A man allegedly killed his wife and their seven-month-old daughter with a hammer following a domestic dispute in Ballari’s Andhral area, police said on Friday.The deceased were identified as Rajeshwari and her infant daughter Ashbini. The accused husband, Honnooru Swamy, allegedly fled the scene after the crime.According to news agency ANI, police said that the family had been involved in frequent disputes over the past few days.The argument reportedly escalated late Thursday night, after which the accused allegedly attacked his wife and daughter with a hammer, killing them on the spot. As soon as they received information about the incident, police from the APMC police station rushed to the spot and conducted an inspection. The bodies have been shifted to the hospital for post-mortem.The exact motive behind the killings is yet to be determined.A case has been registered, and police have launched a search for the absconding accused, Honnooru Swamy.
