Boarding a flight for the first time is an experience that many like to document for their lives on their phones. Likewise, a man’s story, who was taking his first flight from Delhi International Airport, has gone viral, not for his experience but for a small act of kindness from a stranger who decided to help him out after seeing that he was struggling to capture a photo of himself before boarding his first-ever flight.

The incident was shared by the stranger himself, named Rayaz, who turned out to be a digital content creator and a rider. On Instagram, he posted the clip that captured his wholesome interaction with the first-time flyer. “He was struggling to take his first airport photo,” the text at the beginning of the clip read.

“Be The Reason Behind Someone’s Smile”

The video showed the man walking through the aerobridge to board the aircraft. He was seen trying to click a picture of himself before boarding. Noticing that he was struggling to get the perfect shot, Rayan walked over and offered to help.

“Uncle, give it to me. I’ll take the photo,” he told him. The man happily handed over the phone and posed at one side of the aerobridge for a nice shot.

Rayan then asked the man to move to a better spot where the aircraft and the airport were clearly visible in the background. The man’s reaction said it all. He was seen scrolling through the pictures with a broad smile that spread across his face. “Be the reason behind someone’s smile. A small kindness can make people of any age smile,” the text on the video read.

“World Needs More People Like You”

The wholesome moment has resonated with thousands online, many of whom praised the creator for taking a few extra moments to help someone preserve a lifelong memory, while others shared similar stories of strangers lending a hand.

“World needs more people like you,” wrote a user.

Another said, “This is for what humans are made by God — to spread love & humanity on earth.”

“You never know how much these small things can make someone really very happy,” quipped an individual.

A different person quipped, “Just a little empathy makes this world beautiful.”

“Being a flight attendant, I love this moment. I come across people who struggle with taking pictures alone, and I love to approach them for the picture because I know the level of excitement of that 1st flight,” a flight attendant shared.

Small acts of kindness can bring smiles and preserve lifelong memories for individuals. A stranger helped a first-time flyer capture photos at an airport, and an IndiGo crew member repaired a passenger’s broken glasses mid-flight.
