Apple’s iPhone will celebrate its 20th anniversary next year, and the company is rumored to mark the occasion with a major redesign for its iPhone Pro lineup. The upcoming models are likely to go by the iPhone 20 moniker and are said to feature an edge-to-edge quad-curved display and solid-state buttons.

Well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has now claimed that Apple is testing a 6.96-inch display, which could make its way to the iPhone 20 Pro Max.

While that’s only 0.06 inches larger than the panel on the current iPhone 17 Pro Max, the tipster says the iPhone 20 Pro Max will retain the same aspect ratio as its predecessor. That should make it just as comfortable to hold as the current Pro Max model.

According to recent leaks, the iPhone 20 Pro and iPhone 20 Pro Max may also offer under-display FaceID technology and improved Ceramic Shield protection on the sides. The 20th anniversary iPhones are also rumored to offer up to 6,000mAh batteries and reverse wireless charging.
