Gumla: Two boys aged 18 and a 29 year-old man were arrested on Monday for allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl from Chhattisgarh in Simdega district on Sunday. The girl, staying at her aunt’s residence for 10 days, was allegedly dragged away from an engagement ceremony and sexually assaulted in a nearby house, police said.“She went back home on Sunday night and narrated her ordeal before the local police station which lodged a zero FIR. The case was then transferred to Simdega police,” DSP Ranveer Singh said.
