After an anonymous X handle uploaded alleged “proofs” of a leak, NTA has officially intervened, calling the claims a malicious attempt to mislead.

X User Alleges Re-NEET 2026 Exam Paper Has Been Leaked, NTA Says ‘Dont Spread Fake Images’
The ghost of examination leaks is refusing to leave Indian medical aspirants alone. Just as lakhs of students are pulling all-nighters to prepare for the upcoming NEET-UG 2026 re-examination scheduled for June 21, social media has been also keeping up with the stress. An X (formerly Twitter) user posted a detailed, multi-part thread on June 15 claiming that the upcoming Re-NEET 2026 exam paper has already been leaked and is circulating on dark networks.
The thread caught viral traction almost instantly, forcing the National Testing Agency (NTA) to step into the comments section to aggressively shut down the allegations.
What The User Alleged
In a four-part thread, the user tagged the National Testing Agency, claiming he had been trying to flag the security breach privately since June 12.
“(1/4) ReNeet 2026 exam has been leaked. Thank you @NTA_Exams and @dpradhanbjp. Since June 12, I notified you through private DMs, and on June 13, I made a public post as well. From that date until today, you have not addressed any of my requests to deal with these leakers.”
The user further claimed that a specific “draft” version of the paper was being openly traded in localized loops on Telegram, even pointing to a channel titled nta_insiderbackup.
“(2/4) Attached is proof that the “DRAFT” version of the NEET exam is being openly distributed in public Telegram channels. I am sure @NTA_Exams is aware of this, yet despite knowing about it, you have failed to take any action against it.”
“(3/4) Further confirmation comes from DMs. I was shown transaction details related to the NEET exam, (of Before May3rd) indicating the paper had been compromised. I also screenshoted some of the evidence using another phone, but I am not sharing those images to protect my privacy”
The thread alleged that the network behind these leaks is linked to individuals recently arrested by the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the Rajasthan Police.

NTA Responds
With panic spreading through the student community, the NTA’s official X handle didn’t mince words. Dropping directly into the thread’s reply section, the agency issued a swift, single-line denial: “Please dont spread fake images and try to mislead students.”
As the tweet gained retweets, internet users began dissecting the alleged “proofs” uploaded by the whistleblower. It didn’t take long for students to notice glaring red flags in the documents provided.
One user pointed out a massive spelling error in the text of the alleged leaked document: “Bro in Statement b check the spelling of posses so i think it’s fake.”
Others accused the handle of outright clout-chasing and manufacturing fear to gain social media numbers before the exam. One user commented, “Are you nonsense or try to get attention. these are fake. You are busy in social media to get some followers and after results you will blame NTA for not selected.” Another echoed the sentiment, writing, “Guy’s he’s doing fear mongering I have shared the account with Authorities action will be taken shortly.”
India Restricts Telegram Till June 22
In an unprecedented move to curb actual cheating syndicates, the Central Government has temporarily banned Telegram access in India until June 22 and forced the platform to disable its message-editing feature. According to law enforcement agencies, scammers routinely use Telegram’s edit tool to insert actual exam papers into old messages after the exam is over, artificially backdating them to manufacture fake “proof” of a leak.
