Prayagraj: A 35-year-old woman suffocated to death after a major fire broke out at a three-storeyed building in the old Naini bazar area on Tuesday night, police said.Chief fire officer (Prayagraj) Chandra Mohan said the fire broke out on the first floor of the building-cum-plastic godown and spread to other floors.“Eleven members of the family were rescued by a joint team of firemen and police. However, one woman fainted and lost her life due to suffocation,” Mohan said.He added that the department officials are probing the exact cause of the fire.
