KendrapadaPolice arrested two persons, including manager of a jatra party on charges of gang-raping an aspiring jatra party actress in Kendrapada district on Saturday. The arrested persons were identified as manager Bulu Panda and another person Jyoti Panda.The 25-year-old woman lodged an FIR in Pattamundai police station on May 26 and alleged that both the accused took her to a hotel in Kendrapada town . In the hotel they spiked her cold drinks as a result of which she became unconscious. Taking this opportunity both gang-raped and videographed her in the nude. They also threated to kill her if she told anyone about the incident. Acting on the complaint, we launched an investigation and arrested both the accused on Saturday, said IIC of Pattamundai police station Bandana Patra.
