Times News NetworkThiruvananthapuram: The City Police have announced traffic restrictions on the Law College–Pottakuzhi Road from 8 am on July 20 in connection with sewerage works being carried out by the Kerala Water Authority.According to a press release issued by the assistant commissioner of police (traffic north), the restrictions will remain in force until the completion of the sewerage project.As part of the traffic arrangements, the movement of heavy vehicles will be completely prohibited on the Law College Junction–Thekkummoodu–Pottakuzhi stretch from 8am on July 20.Vehicles travelling from PMG towards Pottakuzhi have been advised to take the PMG–Anayara Hospital Junction–Mulavana–Pottakuzhi route. Vehicles travelling from Pottakuzhi towards PMG should use the Pottakuzhi–Pattom–PMG route.The city police have requested the public to cooperate with the traffic regulations to ensure the smooth execution of the works and minimise inconvenience.For information on the traffic arrangements, the public may contact the traffic police control room at 9497930055 or 0471-2558731.
