A Canadian sex worker said she stopped accepting clients from India and Pakistan after several negative experiences, but now plans to give them another chance.

An alleged sex worker from Canada has sparked a heated discussion online after sharing why she stopped accepting clients from India and Pakistan during the early years of her work. In a video that has been widely shared on X, she spoke about her personal experiences, safety concerns and the reasons behind a decision that has drawn both support and criticism.
The clip has led to strong reactions from users, with some defending her right to make decisions based on her experiences, while others questioned her claims and accused her of making broad generalisations about entire communities.
She Spoke About Her Past Experiences
The video opens with the woman explaining that when she first started working, her rates were much lower than they are today. She also said that she did not ask clients for deposits or carry out screening checks at that time because she wanted to attract as many customers as possible.
According to her claims, many of the clients she met during that period were from India and Pakistan. She claimed that over time, she began noticing what she described as repeated patterns in how some of those clients behaved toward her.
The woman said, “I’m a Canadian sex worker and I used to not see people from these countries (India and Pakistan). Let’s talk about that.” She went on to claim that some clients would arrive with less money than agreed and then try to negotiate prices.
She also alleged that some behaved aggressively, were disrespectful, or refused to shower before appointments. She said these experiences left a negative impression on her.
One Incident Changed Her Decision
The woman explained that one particular incident had a lasting impact on her.
According to her, a client allegedly attempted to pressure her into having sex without a condom. She described the experience as traumatic and said she later reported the matter to police.
The woman claimed she provided the person’s details, but was told that nothing could be done. She said the incident left her feeling unsafe and worried about what might happen if a similar situation occurred again.
Because of those concerns, she decided to stop seeing clients from India and Pakistan altogether. The woman stressed that this decision was linked to her personal experiences and safety concerns rather than race.

Why She Is Reconsidering Now
Later in the video, she explained that her business now operates differently from when she first started. She said she charges higher rates, requires screening procedures and asks clients for deposits before appointments.
According to her, these measures have reduced many of the problems she previously faced.
The woman said she has recently received requests from people from the same countries and has been considering whether to accept them again. She suggested that people who are willing to pay higher rates and complete screening checks may behave differently from the clients she encountered years ago.
As a result, she said she plans to give it another chance. At the same time, she admitted that she remains nervous because of her past experiences.
“I’m not going to play Russian roulette with my safety just to be politically correct,” she said. The woman also insisted that her comments were not intended to be racist and said her concerns were focused on how she had been treated rather than on ethnicity.
The Post Sparked Debate Online
The post quickly attracted thousands of reactions. Some users questioned the legal side of the discussion.
A person wrote, “Isn’t prostitution illegal in Canada? I’m surprised the police didn’t charge you when you went and admitted to charging people money for s*x lol I’m sure your name got added to a file after your visit though.”
Another user asked, “Is this euphemism? I guess I don’t understand… is prostitution legal in Canada?”
Others focused on the claims made in the video. “So, a prostitute realised that she could use the dumbest, the most gullible demographic to advertise for her, and how she was right. Right-wing white men posting for her!,” a person commented.
Not everyone disagreed with her. A user wrote, “I do not blame her. Many sex workers I know also refuse to see Indian clients or Arab clients because of their aggressive nature and disrespect for women. It is not racism; it is pattern recognition. I say this as a South Asian woman.”
