Russia’s Ambassador to India Denis Alipov Monday called on Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in Gandhinagar.
He praised Gujarat’s reputation as a model state of India’s development and expressed eagerness to partner with the government in the fields of educational research, agriculture, diamond and trade and commerce, an official release from the Chief Minister’s Office stated.
CM Patel highlighted the opportunities in the field of educational research and fintech at GIFT City during the meeting.
Senior bureaucrats including chief principal secretary to the CM K Kailashnathan, Additional Chief Secretary to the CM Pankaj Joshi, Additional Chief Secretary (Industries) S J Haider, Industries Commissioner Sandip Sagale and IndextB Managing Director Gauran Makwana were present in the meeting.
