Remember Majnu Bhai’s masterpiece, which featured a donkey on a horse’s back? Nearly two decades after the release of ‘Welcome,’ featuring Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar, among others, one of its iconic scenes has found a second life on the internet, all thanks to a hilarious real-life moment.
In a video that has been widely shared across platforms, a goat was seen balancing on the back of a donkey while casually munching on leaves from a tree.
The hilarity of the scene increased manifold when a few other goats were seen standing near the tree, watching the unusual scene unfold. The uncanny resemblance to Majnu Bhai’s infamous painting was not lost on viewers.
Released in 2007, Welcome has evolved from a blockbuster comedy into a cult classic, with its memorable characters and hilarious scenes that continue to thrive through memes and references.
Among the most iconic scenes of the film is the bizarre painting created by Anil Kapoor’s character, Majnu Bhai. The artwork, featuring a donkey on a horse’s back, remains a fan favourite even today.
So, once the video of the real-life version of that painting surfaced online, in no time, fans of the film began to joke that Majnu Bhai was “ahead of his time.”
Internet Can’t Stop Laughing At The Uncanny Resemblance
One user said, “Majnu bhai direct banatei hei aankho dekh boletoh live painting.”
“Majnu bhai is the OG artiste!!” another person said.
“English mein bole toh, live painting,” a different individual jokingly penned.

Another fan of the film quipped, “Normal artists replicate life. Nature replicates Majnu bhai.”
Meanwhile, one person commented another iconic scene related to the painting in the film, where Mallika Sherawat’s character buys it during an auction and says, “Kya dekha aapne iss drishya mein? Pyaar. Jab ek jaanwar dusre jaanwar ka bojh utha sakta hai, to hum insaanon ki zindagi se pyaar kahan kho ke reh gaya” and called it, “iconic movie.”
The video was originally shared by a farm page on Instagram in the US by the name Ashe Farm Adventures, which regularly shares posts related to farm animals like goats, chickens, ducks, dogs and a donkey.
