The Hero Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 was recently launched. It is priced at Rs 86,500 for the Drum variant, and Rs 90,000 for the Disc variant (both ex-showroom, Delhi). Here is a closer look at its features.
Convenience Features

The Hero Super Splendor Xtec 2.00 has a digital instrument cluster, which has a speedometer, an odometer, a fuel gauge, two trip meters, and real-time mileage. It also gets Bluetooth connectivity with SMS and call alerts. There’s also a USB Type-A charging port near the ignition.

This Super Splendor has start-stop tech that turns off the engine while idling for a longer duration, and turns it back on at the pull of the clutch lever. This is claimed to improve the bike’s mileage. The bike has low-speed assist (called Hero Auto-Sail), which prevents the bike from stalling while riding at creeping speeds. It also has a silent starter for quieter engine ignition.
The other features on the bike include an LED headlight, and a hazard light switch. This setup feels adequate for this segment.
Safety Features

The Super Splendor Xtec 2.0 keeps things simple on this front. It has a 240mm front disc brake on the top variant, while the base variant gets a 130mm drum brake. Both variants have a 130mm rear drum brake. It only gets a combined braking system, not ABS, on both the variants.
The Super Splendor Xtec 2.0 has practical features that make everyday riding more convenient.
