Panaji: The body of a 23-year-old woman was found on Hawai beach at Dona Paula late on Wednesday evening.Some locals first spotted the body on the shore and informed Panaji police, who rushed to the spot to carry out investigations.The body was later shifted to GMC for postmortem, and medico-legal formalities were on till late night.Sources said initial investigations show that the woman is a native of Kerala and was presently undergoing her internship at GMC, Bambolim, as part of her medicine programme. The cause of death is yet to be ascertained.
