Ranchi: Police arrested four men for allegedly possessing illegal arms and ammunition from Ganganagar Karam Chowk under Sukhdeonagar police station limits on Monday.The arrestees have been identified as Sahdev Tigga (35), Ankit Khalkho (22), Ravi Lakra( 26) and Sandip Kumar (40)According to police, the four were planning to execute antisocial activities with the help of the arms. “After receiving the input, police conducted a drive in the area to nab the four. Upon noticing the police, they tried to escape from the scene. However, police arrested the four. Police recovered a USA-made 9 mm automated pistol and two rounds of live cartridges, along with two smartphones from their possession,” Kotwali assistant superintendent of police (ASP), Nikhil Rai said on Tuesday.
