Davanagere: India Khelo Football (IKF), in association with KSFA-accredited Karunadu Football Club, will conduct the TYGER IKF KSFA Namma Karnataka Football Trials in Davanagere on Aug 2 as part of a statewide talent hunt. Karunadu Football Club coach Ahamed Mujtaba V said the trials are free and aimed at making football scouting accessible to every aspiring player, irrespective of financial background. The event will be held at Lourdes Boys School, Davanagere. Boys and girls born between 2009 and 2016 are eligible to participate. The initiative seeks to identify talented young footballers and provide them a pathway to professional football. Players who impress the scouting team will qualify for the Namma Karnataka finals, where they will be assessed by scouts from Karnataka-based ISL and I-League clubs, as well as leading football academies.
