A Class 12 student’s angry video over alleged CBSE checking mistakes has reignited panic online, with several students now questioning the accuracy of their marksheets.
Students demand accountability
The CBSE Class 12 evaluation process is facing heavy criticism online after several students claimed they found serious mistakes in their checked answer sheets. What started as isolated complaints has now turned into a larger debate, with many students and parents questioning the accuracy of the board’s new evaluation system.
This year, CBSE introduced the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system instead of the earlier mutual checking method. Since the results were declared, students have been sharing posts online alleging wrong markings, unchecked answers and even answer sheets being mixed up.
The issue first gained attention after Class 12 student Vedant Shrivastava claimed there were errors in his evaluated paper. CBSE later admitted to a mistake in his case. Since then, several other students have also started posting screenshots and videos of what they say are serious checking errors.
Some students claimed answers were marked wrong despite matching the official answer key. Others alleged that many attempted questions were shown as unanswered. A few even said they received answer sheets that did not belong to them.
Student’s Video Draws Strong Reactions
Among the many clips circulating online, one video in particular has grabbed widespread attention. In the video, a student demanded strict action against those responsible for the alleged mistakes.
The post shared on X by the handle ‘Talk2anuradha’ read, “CBSE and Education Ministry are playing with the future of millions of students. All the officials involved in this disaster should be fired immediately and their 3 months’ salary should be deducted.”
In the clip, the student says, “So I just received my chemistry answer sheet, and I am shocked and pissed to say the least. Here is what I’m going to say what CBSE did.”
She then shows parts of her answer sheet and compares them with the official marking scheme. According to her, many answers that matched the answer key were still marked incorrect.
“As you can see, this is my answer sheet and the answers I marks– marked go as A, B, A, C, B, and in the marking scheme also given by CBSE it is A, B, A, C, B. But as you can see, only two of my answers are correct,” she says in the video.
The student further claimed that many questions appeared to be wrongly checked throughout the paper. She also pointed to symbols and markings repeatedly printed across several pages of her answer sheet.
“Not to mention the first page here, it shows that I have not attempted all these question when I have clearly attempted them all,” she added.
More Students Share Similar Complaints
As the clip spread online, many other students began posting similar experiences. Several users uploaded screenshots of answer sheets, rechecking forms and comparison videos claiming errors in evaluation.
A user wrote, “this seems to be a scam of behemoth proportion. Shame on the way it’s handled with silence across all govt agencies.”
Another commented, “CBSE should cancel the result and reacheck all the copy again. This OSM things only be implemented after proper training and with 100% accuracy.”
A person said, “Pathetic condition of nation bcz of uneducated leaders seating at top.”

Several students also demanded manual rechecking instead of digital evaluation.
Others said they had lost trust in the system after seeing multiple complaints surface online.
