Ahmedabad: The admission committee has announced the revised schedule for Round 3 (reshuffling) and vacant seat admissions for diploma to degree engineering and pharmacy courses for the academic year 2026-27 in Gujarat.This year, more than 21,213 students from more than 30 universities across the state appeared for the DDCET exam. Out of these, 15,071 candidates confirmed their registration by paying fees, and 14,962 students were included in the merit list.The Round-2 admission process, completed on July 22, saw 11,188 allotments, out of which 9,573 students secured admissions. Meanwhile, diploma result verification is currently ongoing until July 29. However, considering that more than 5,000 GTU students have applied for reassessment in Semester 6, authorities have extended the marksheet verification deadline until Aug 4 to safeguard students’ academic interests.Candidates found ineligible as per AICTE norms will be disqualified, and resulting vacant seats will be announced on Aug 5. The Round-3 reshuffling process, including choice filling and locking, will take place from Aug 5 to Aug 6, followed by seat allotment on Aug 7.Students can confirm admissions and pay tuition fees online between Aug 7 and Aug 8. Vacant seats after Round 3 will be displayed on Aug 9, with further admission rounds for self-financed, govt, and grant-in-aid institutes continuing until Aug 14.
