Hyderabad: Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy and MLC Addanki Dayakar on Friday strongly defended the state govt’s decision of establishing a third Discom and said opposition parties were making speculative allegations without understanding the financial condition of the power utilities.“The Telangana Rythu Power Distribution Company Limited (TGRPDCL) is aimed at strengthening the existing power utilities and provide a reliable power supply to the agricultural sector. The previous BRS government had burdened the discoms with huge debts. The incumbent Congress govt is now trying to restore financial discipline,” said Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy.
