SURAT: A box cricket facility employee was arrested for allegedly molesting a 14-year-old girl in the lift of a posh Utran society after stalking her till her home.On Monday evening, the minor had gone to the facility with her friend to make some inquiries. The accused stalked her and entered the lift with her. He then allegedly asked her for her phone number and Instagram Id which she refused to provide. As she was exiting the lift, he allegedly groped her.The girl reached home but did not tell her family members about the incident out of fear. On Tuesday, she revealed the molestation to her classmate who informed her parents. The parents contacted Utran police and filed a complaint.Police checked the CCTV of the society and found the man to be working at the box cricket facility.Utran police inspector HR Goswami said: “We arrested the accused. We are investigating if he has any criminal history.”
