Panchkula: A biker was fined Rs 32,500 after DCP (crime and traffic) Amrinder Singh spotted him riding dangerously without a number plate near the MDC traffic lights.The incident occurred Wednesday when the DCP was passing through the area in an official vehicle and noticed the reckless driving. He directed traffic personnel to stop and check the motorcycle.During inspection, the rider was found without a valid driving licence, registration certificate, insurance or pollution papers. The vehicle was also without a number plate and had allegedly jumped traffic signals.Police issued a cumulative challan for multiple violations, including dangerous driving, signal jumping and absence of mandatory documents. The motorcycle was impounded and taken to the MDC police station.DCP Amrinder Singh said strict enforcement was essential for road safety, adding that vehicles without proper documents and number plates could also be misused for criminal activities.
