Young business owners are trying new and different ways to talk about their startups. Many of them are using public places and simple ideas to reach people. In one such case, a woman chose the women-only coach of the Delhi Metro to promote her makeup startup.
The idea was shared in a video posted on Instagram by a user named Saisha (@saishxa). The clip shows her taking a bold step to introduce her brand to daily commuters in a moving train setting.
Woman Promotes Her Makeup Brand Inside Delhi Metro
In the video, she is first seen recording herself at a metro station and speaking about her idea before entering the train. She says, “You know what I do not see in this metro station? A girl letting everyone know about her startup. But what are we going to do? We’re going to tell people about it. What’s better than a women’s-only compartment to actually promote your makeup? Am I allowed to do this? I don’t know. How are we gonna do this? F** yeah.”
After this, she steps into the women’s coach and starts talking directly to passengers about her makeup brand. She explains her products, shares details about her startup, and tries to connect with people during the ride.
Inside the women-only coach, she moves from seat to seat and speaks to commuters about her business. She introduces her makeup products, talks about the brand idea, and tries to get people interested in what she is selling.
Some passengers listen as she explains her startup in a casual and direct way while standing inside the moving train.
Video Shows Her Reaction And One Customer’s Interest
Later, she talks about how the experience went for her and shares her honest reaction, saying, “Did we get any response? No. Maza aaya? Yes.”
Even though most people did not respond at first, a text shown in the video later says that one passenger showed interest, tried the blush, and even bought one product after testing it.
Viewers Praise Her Confidence And Idea Online
The video caption read, “A startup will have you in places and random pep talks you never saw coming.”
People online reacted strongly to her idea, with many appreciating her confidence and effort.
A user said, “I’m gonna copy this idea.” Another wrote, “I want this to be normalised so that small Indian startups can survive. So, sharing, resharing, liking, sending to my friends, and watching it nth time. Go girl.”
Others added comments like, “Would’ve cheered for you so loudly if I were there.” and “Excellent strategy.”
Another remark read, “this is so f**kinnn crazyy!! I can’t imagine the number of brands who’d love copying this specific idea,” while one more comment said, “OMG this needs a lot of courage to do.”
