A Delhi woman shared how her Uber Moto ride took a funny turn when the rider accidentally drove off without her after handing over the helmet at pickup.

A Delhi woman expected a normal Uber Moto ride but ended up with a story she never saw coming. After booking a bike for her journey, she was left standing on the roadside while the driver unknowingly rode away without her.
The unusual mix-up was shared by Instagram user Pratima, who posted a video showing herself holding the rider’s helmet after the bike had already disappeared into traffic. The incident has since amused many social media users, with several sharing similar experiences of their own.
The Rider Left With Only The Helmet
In the video, Pratima can be seen standing by a busy road while recording herself. She explains that she had booked an Uber Moto and was waiting for the rider to arrive.
According to her, the driver reached the pickup point while talking on his phone. As he came near her, he handed over the helmet, which is usually the first step before the passenger gets on the bike.
However, before she could take her seat, the rider sped away. “I had booked an Uber bike, and I have this helmet. The driver was on his phone as he approached me, gave me the helmet, and drove off without me,” she said in the clip.
The situation left her stranded with the helmet while the bike continued towards the destination without its passenger.
Pratima added a humorous caption to the post, writing, “Bike left without me ab helmet ka kya karu mai?”
The Driver Realised It Much Later
The story did not end there. In a follow-up video, Pratima revealed that the driver only noticed something was wrong after reaching the destination.
According to her, he called and asked, “Madam, kahan rahe gayi aap?”. She said the rider appeared completely unaware that he had completed the journey alone.
The second clip later showed her finally reuniting with the driver and continuing the ride. She jokingly suggested that he had several explanations ready for how the mix-up happened.
