A heated confrontation between an Uber driver, who is claimed to be an Indian, and two Australian women has left the internet divided. A video of the incident was shared on social media, revealing that the dispute began between them, when the driver declined to drive the two passengers and asked them to cancel the ride, resulting into a physical altercation.

In the video posted on X, one of the two women claimed that the Uber driver allegedly refused to proceed with the trip and asked them to cancel the booking. They, however, refused to exit the vehicle immediately, leading to a heated exchange. The driver even threatened to throw hot coffee on them if they did not get out.

The Uber Driver Asked The Women To Get Out Of His Car

“Get out of my car. Can’t you understand? I am telling you one more time, otherwise I am going to spill coffee on you,” said the driver, as captured in the clip, and repeatedly asked them to step out. The two women were seen arguing with the driver while filming the encounter. “I am not cancelling the trip because I have been stung before,” one of them said. “Why would you accept it?”

The situation takes a turn when the driver allegedly throws a cup of hot coffee. Some bystanders gather at the place after hearing all the commotion. When a person asked the two what happened, one of the two woman said, “ We get in the car and he goes, I can’t take two people. I’m like, well why the f–k would you accept the trip? And then he pulled over and made us cancel it and then starts abusing her like a f—g idiot.”

The viral post claimed that one of the women suffered severe burns enough to require hospital treatment.

“Why Couldn’t They Just Get Out?”

The incident has garnered attention on the internet, with many strongly reacting to it. While some expressed concerns about the passengers and their safely, others asked why there was a need to escalate the matter so much when the two women could have just cancelled the trip.

“Lmao. Rideshare itself is a scam, he legally owns the car and is allowd to eject you from it. If you didn’t want to be scammed you shouldn’t have downloaded the scam app and agreed to be scammed. That being said, of course he should calmly call the police and wait for them,” said one user.

“Why couldn’t they just get out? I don’t get it, even smirking like that. He has a family to feed and you’re not getting out his car why? Play silly games, win stupid prizes,” quipped another person.

Someone else pointed outm “They acknowledge that the ride has already been cancelled but keep on arguing instead of just leaving, then it looks like they walk away but go back to the car for some reason?”

“He should have called the police. I don’t know why people are defending the entitled women who think they can just stay in someone’s person vehicle when they are asked to leave,” an individual commented.

Police are reportedly investigating the incident.
