Ahmedabad: Following amendments to admission rules, the Gujarat Professional Nursing and Allied Medical Educational Courses Admission Committee (GPNAMEC) has reopened online registration for 2026-27.The process covers BSc courses such as nursing, physiotherapy, auxiliary nursing and midwifery (ANM), general nursing and midwifery (GNM), optometry, occupational therapy, orthotics and prosthetics, and naturopathy, along with audiology and speech language pathology (ASLP).Eligible applicants must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board (GSEB, CBSE, CISCE, Cambridge, or NIOS) within Gujarat. Students are required to buy an online PIN by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000 through the official website www.medadmgujarat.org between July 11 and 17. Document verification at designated help centres will conclude on July 18.The committee reported that a total of 33,313 PINs were purchased, out of which 32,736 candidates completed registration, and 30,026 applications were successfully verified so far.More than 57,000 seats are available across govt, grant-in-aid, and self-financed institutions.
