WBJEE counselling 2026: Round 2 registration and choice filling begin at wbjeeb.nic.in

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has started the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) Counselling 2026 round 2 registration and choice-filling process. Eligible candidates can now complete the process by visiting the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in.According to the schedule, the round 2 choice-filling window will remain open till July 17, 2026. The round 2 seat allotment result will be announced on July 21, while candidates who receive a seat must complete college reporting by July 23.

WBJEE counselling 2026 round 2: Choice filling

During the choice-filling process, candidates have to select their preferred colleges and courses in the order of priority. They are advised to fill as many choices as possible to improve their chances of getting a seat.The board has also said that Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) seats will be shown separately for each college and course. Candidates who are willing to accept both TFW and Non-TFW seats should select both options. If they choose only one category, they may miss the opportunity to get a seat in the other category.After completing the choices, candidates should lock their preferences before the last date. If they do not lock them manually, the board will automatically lock the last saved choices after the deadline.

How seats will be allotted

The WBJEEB will prepare the round 2 seat allotment based on several factors, including:

  • WBJEE or Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main rank
  • Choices filled by the candidate
  • Category
  • Availability of seats

WBJEE counselling 2026 round 3 schedule

The board has also announced the round 3 schedule. Registration and choice filling for round 3 will begin on July 24 and continue till July 26.The round 3 seat allotment result will be declared on July 28. Candidates allotted seats in this round will have to complete fee payment and report to their allotted colleges between July 28 and July 30.WBJEE counselling is conducted for admission to engineering, technology, architecture and pharmacy degree programmes offered by universities and colleges across West Bengal. Candidates are advised to complete the choice-filling process carefully before the deadline to avoid missing the next stage of admission.
