Times News NetworkPrayagraj: Two teenage boys drowned in river Tons at Kotha Ghat under the limits of Shankgarh police station in trans-Yamuna pocket of Prayagraj district on Sunday.The deceased, identified as Kunal Mishra (17) and Vishesh Mishra (16), were residents of Bharat Nagar.Station house officer (Shankargarh) Sushil Dubey told TOI that both the boys had gone to the ghat under the jurisdiction of Chak Ghat police station in Reewa district with their family members. They both jumped into the river for swiming and went into deep water zone.When they started drowning they raised an alarm. Upon being alerted, a team of Shankargarh police arrived at the spot and managed to fish out the bodies with the help of locals and divers.
