Mumbai: A friendly two-month-old puppy named Tiny, died after being thrown from a height at Mayfair The View building at Vikhroli on July 20. An FIR has been lodged against unknown persons at Vikhroli Park Site police station. Animal activist Madhuri Sharma was first to respond to the animal cruelty by ensuring that an autopsy of the pup was carried out.Local animal lovers said that Tiny was merely trying to avoid the heavy rains, and had therefore entered inside the building. Mysteriously, the CCTV footage of the tower entrance and staircase is not available, making it difficult to identify the culprits.
