Mangaluru: Kadaba police have registered two cases, including a counter-case, following an alleged clash over a matter related to a woman’s marriage.According to a complaint filed by Monish, 21, a resident of Kadaba, he was returning home after work on Friday night, when Sharath, Deepak and Vishwanath allegedly intercepted him near the College Road Junction in Kadaba village.The complainant alleged that the trio abused and assaulted him and issued a death threat over a matter related to a girl’s marriage. Based on the complaint, police registered a case under Sections 126(2), 118(1), 115(2), 352 and 351(2), read with Section 3(5) of the BNS.In a related development, Deepak, 33, a resident of Kutrupady, filed a counter-complaint alleging that Monish intercepted and assaulted him and issued a death threat. Based on the counter-complaint, Kadaba police registered a case udner Sections 126(2), 118(1), 115(2), 352 and 351(2) of the BNS.Police said both cases are under investigation and further legal action will be taken.
