SALEM: Tamil Nadu Transport Corporation’s Salem division will conduct package tours from here to Yercaud starting Thursday (May 7).The package tour will cover 12 main tourist spots in Yercaud — Karadiyur Viewpoint, Shervarayan Temple, Manjakuttai Viewpoint, Pakoda Point, Lady’ Seat, Gent’s Seat, Rose Garden, Yercaud Lake, Boat House, Anna Park, Deer Park and Botanical Garden.The bus used for the package tour will depart from Salem New Bus Stand at 8.30am every day till June 30. It will return to Salem New Bus Stand by 7pm.
How often do you go on package tours?
The fare is Rs 300 for adults and Rs 150 for children below 12.Seats can be booked on TNSTC website and app, and also at the reservation counter at the Salem New Bus Stand.
