Vijayapura: As many as 3 people were injured in a suspicious blast at a paan shop in Mamadapur village, Babaleshwar taluk, Vijayapura districts on Sunday night.Police said Vijay Kumar, the paan shop owner, and customers Prashant and Siddu were injured in the incident. They have been admitted to a private hospital in Vijayapura. Doctors have said that injured persons are out of danger.Superintendent of police Laxman Nimbargi said that the injured are unaware of what happened and why it happened. “They have sustained some injuries, but they are fine. Dog squad, SOCO, and anti-sabotage teams visited the spot. We didn’t find any substantial material there. The CCTV footage gives clues about lightning followed by thunder before some movement of the public from the bar, which is near the paan shop. The matter is under investigation. We will also get a bomb detection and disposal squad team and investigate it further,” he added.
