Tecno recently unveiled the Pova 8 Pro and Pova 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition, with the standard model confirmed to launch in India on August 18. While we wait for the Pova 8 Pro to arrive, the company has introduced its Pova AI Buds Pro in the country.
AI is the main highlight of Tecno’s latest TWS earbuds, with the Pova AI Buds Pro offering AI-powered real-time speech transcription, meeting summaries, and translation support for up to 78 languages.
The Pova AI Buds Pro earbuds also feature built-in storage and a Quick Note button on the charging case for on-device recording. Tecno claims the earbuds can record continuously for up to four hours.
Each earbud is equipped with four microphones and supports Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation, which is claimed to reduce ambient noise by up to 48dB.
The earbuds feature pinch controls and support Hi-Res Audio and LHDC codecs. They also offer dual-device connectivity and carry an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.
Tecno claims the Pova AI Buds Pro can deliver up to 40 hours of total battery life with the charging case.
The charging case supports both wireless and USB Type-C charging, although the wireless charging pad is sold separately.
The Tecno Pova AI Buds Pro are priced at INR 14,999 ($155) and are available in a single color option. They will go on sale in India via Flipkart and Amazon starting August 22.
