A fun water park ride turned into a scary experience after a woman unexpectedly found herself sliding down right behind a snake. The clip, believed to be from a water attraction in Jakarta, Indonesia, has now left social media users both shocked and amused.
The short video shows the woman trying to continue her ride while staying away from the reptile moving along the slippery slide. While many viewers said the situation looked terrifying, others joked that the snake was probably just as frightened as the rider.
Woman Spots Snake Mid-Slide
The 47-second clip begins like any normal water park ride. A woman can be seen going down a waterslide while sitting on an inflatable tube.
Everything appears calm at first until a snake suddenly comes into view on the slide ahead of her. The reptile appears to be struggling to move on the wet surface while the woman slowly slides closer behind it.
As soon as she notices the snake, panic takes over. The woman starts screaming and tightly holds onto the sides of the tube while trying not to get too close to the reptile.
People watching nearby can also be heard reacting loudly in the background. At one point, the snake moves across the slide while the woman tries to slow herself down to avoid coming into direct contact with it.
Since she was sitting on an air tube, she managed to keep some distance between herself and the reptile during the ride. The clip also showed that the snake itself appeared confused and frightened while trying to escape the slippery slide.
Despite the chaos and screaming, the woman safely reached the bottom without getting hurt.
