Sara Tendulkar slams Tahir Jasus for body shaming post while gathering support from social media users who had her back and condemned invasive and derogatory paparrazi coverage

News18
Sara Tendulkar, daughter of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, has recently criticised a paparazzi account after it posted a body-shaming caption about her on social media.
The controversy began when a Mumbai-based paparazzo shared a video of Sara arriving at the airport with her sister-in-law, Saaniya. While the clip itself appeared harmless, the caption attached to it drew sharp backlash online.
“Moti wali Sara hai. Bagal wali bhabhi hai,” the caption read.
The remark quickly caught Sara’s attention, prompting her to call out the account for its behaviour publicly.
Sharing a screenshot on her Instagram Stories, she wrote, “@tahirjasus, you are disgusting. This is not journalism. Leave us alone.”
Even after claiming the post was deleted, Sara continued to slam the paparazzo. In another statement, she wrote, “You can delete your post, but that doesn’t make you any less disgusting.”
The incident sparked criticism from social media users as many came out in support of Sara and condemned the body-shaming remarks.
Although the paparazzi account later removed the post amid this widespread criticism, Sara’s reaction struck a chord online, with many users also speaking out against invasive celebrity coverage and insensitive comments directed at public figures and their families.
