Ride collapses at ‘Disneyland fair’ in Bihar’s Sasaram; several children, women injured

PATNA: Several children and women were injured after a ride at a ‘Disneyland fair’ collapsed in Bihar’s Sasaram on Friday, officials said. The injured were rushed to the Sadar Hospital in Sasaram for treatment soon after the incident, according to news agency ANI. Dr Manish Kumar said the injured were being treated at the hospital.“Some children and women sustained injuries following an accident at Disneyland. They are currently undergoing treatment at the Sadar Hospital,” he said. The exact number of injured persons was not immediately known. Authorities are yet to ascertain the cause of the collapse. Local authorities are expected to launch an investigation into the incident.
