16-year-old II PU student lost his life after a high-speed motorbike crash
BENGALURU: A 16-year-old II PU student astride a sports motorbike succumbed to injuries after ramming the sidewall of the flyover on Old Madras Road in Dooravaninagar early Tuesday.The victim is V Lawrence, residence of Coconut Garden, Ayyappanagar, and studying commerce at St Joseph’s College, police said.The accident occurred around 3am when Lawrence was riding the bike, registered in his mother’s name and generally used by his elder brother, a private company employee.“Due to speed, he lost balance, rammed the sidewall and fell. Other commuters alerted police and shifted Lawrence to a private hospital in CV Raman Nagar.He was shifted to another private hospital on Old Airport Road where he succumbed,” a police officer said.
